Long-time Peter Jackson associate Jamie Selkirk today won the Best Editing Oscar for his work on The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King
Selkirk, who also co-produced Peter Jackson's three Lord of the Rings films and is a co-owner of Weta Workshops, was making his first trip to the Oscars.
"Thank you Peter and Fran (Walsh, Jackson's partner) for giving me the opportunity to be involved with such a fantastic production," Selkirk said.
"Thank you to all my great editing team. They're always the people who are left behind, but they're a fantastic team."
