Little old lady's nasty note after hitting car in car park

An elderly woman in Australia's Gold Coast was spotted leaving what looked like an innocent note on a car she had scraped.

Little did an onlooker know that the woman in the Pacific Fair car park was actually leaving a scathing note for the victim and not an apology.

The note, posted on the Crime Watch Now Gold Coast Facebook page, read: "You parked over the yellow line - try and do better than that".

The bystander who took a photo of the note, told Nine News she was shocked by the woman's actions, who she believed was in her 70s.

"I saw her hit the last bit of the bumper. So I stood there and pretended to play with my tablet to see if she would leave a note," the woman said.

The elderly woman reportedly looked the perfect picture of innocence, as she was seen tucking the note on the victims side mirror and walking into the shopping mall.

"I thought it was a bit bizarre because I've never seen anyone leave a note there before.
Usually it's under the wipers, so I went to have a look," the witness told Nine News.

"That's when I saw what she had written and I was so angry that I took a photo of it."

"I thought, my god, you would think a person of that age would have more common sense and morals than trying to blame the person."

The elderly woman looks to not have got the last laugh however, as the shopping centre obtained a photo of her registration plate.
