Pros: Some critics say Little Britain started to go off by series three. But for my money, David Walliams, Matt Lucas and their mind-blowing family of unpleasant characters are still as funny and gross as ever, especially with the arrival of Thai mail-order bride Ting Tong, who turns out to be a Tong Ting; Dafydd, freaked out by the offer of actual bum fun; and the Prime Minister's continued travails with his aide, Sebastian. And Vicky Pollard really cannot dance. But the add-ons are equally as entertaining, especially the South Bank Show special which reveals two articulate and intelligent men having a great deal of fun in their work, along with a trailer for the live show, Walliam's appearance on Top Gear, deleted scenes, an interview with Richard & Judy, and more.
Cons: The scenes with Mrs Emery, the OAP (Old and Putrid), weeing herself in public shouldn't be watched in the company of an incontinent relative; and the second-hand art shop sketches, where Walliams is in search of the impossible, like a painting of a disappointed horse, go on too long.
Verdict: Fast and furious range of sketches with a high laugh-out-loud count, interspersed with the occasional disgusted groan.
