Thomas Markle is "very pleased" with the Duchess of Sussex's baby news.
The retired lighting director - who hasn't spoken to his daughter since she tied the knot with the Duke of Sussex in 2018 - wished his daughter "all the love" after it was revealed Prince Harry and Meghan have welcomed their second child, a daughter called Lilibet Diana.
Speaking to the Sun Online, Markle said: "I'm very pleased that my daughter and my new granddaughter had a successful delivery. I wish them all my love and the best of luck."
Harry and Meghan confirmed they welcomed a little girl into the world on Saturday (NZ time).
They said in a statement: "It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world.
