KEY POINTS:
Hundreds of beautiful and unusual lanterns will bring the Chinese New Year celebrations to a glowing finale during the Auckland Lantern Festival from Friday to Sunday.
Albert Park will be adorned with lights, and the festival features non-stop entertainment, art and crafts, fortune telling, fireworks and martial arts displays, plus delicious food and a great atmosphere. It runs 5.30pm to 10pm.
