Should TV One's new ballroom dancing show be renamed Dancing with the Devil?

We thought we recognised Georgina Beyer's dance partner, Michael Hoggard. When he's not teaching the Wellington MP to foxtrot, cha-cha or waltz for the Sunday night series, Dancing with the Stars, Hoggard plays guitar in local death metal band, Ulcerate.

Yep, the man who last year was crowned New Zealand's Open Ballroom Champion lists Hate Eternal, Pig Destroyer and fellow Kiwis Dawn of Azazel as his favourite bands, and is the former member of charming wee outfits Hate Theorem and Misadventures in Self-Surgery. Georgina, we just hope you're a diligent student.
