The annual Coro Do Arts Festival takes place during Labour Weekend, October 21-23 and is a chance to catch Coromandel's resident artists at play. As well as entertainment, art and food stalls, the event encourages artistic participation and a variety of workshops are on offer including stone carving, pottery, bookbinding. Also featured will be rADz filmmaking, Graff art and recycled fashion.
At the Focus on Coromandel exhibition, art works will be on display throughout the weekend. Musical acts will include The Herbs Unplugged, singer Beaver, Celtic band The Descendants and funk band The Hot Grits. Buskers are also invited to compete in a competition. The Coro Do will also feature storytelling and a Kidszone area.
