Americans really get into the Halloween spirit.

Perhaps none more so than cosmetics billionaire Kylie Jenner, 24, whose latest Instagram photos have caused quite a stir.

The makeup mogul is promoting her limited edition makeup collection for her company Kylie Cosmetics, KYLIE X NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, in celebration of the spooky season.

And as part of her campaign imagery, the youngest Kardashian sister posed entirely nude in a pool of 'blood' in pictures shared to her 275 million followers.

They are ... a lot.

It's safe to say the post attracted some NSFW comments, while others dubbed it "disturbing" and "satanic".

"What kind of satanic sh*t is this?" one user questioned, while another said, "The fact that you find this appealing is actually horrifying."

Another asked, "How does this promote her makeup?!". A fair question.

If scary was what she was going for, it worked?

Jenner launches special edition collections throughout the year for various occasions including Easter, her birthday and Christmas.

The items generally sellout immediately, and given her somewhat aggressive campaign for the Halloween collection, it will likely prove to be no different when it launches tomorrow.

The mother-of-one is currently pregnant with her second child with rapper Travis Scott. They already share three-year-old daughter, Stormi.
