Actress and favourite muse to Karl Lagerfeld, Kristen Stewart has teamed up with Chanel's maestro to star in his latest fashion film, Once and Forever.
The film premiered to an audience of 800 at the debut of Chanel's pre-fall 2016 collection, where Lagerfeld paid homage to Paris by using the city as his set inspiration.
In the film, Stewart plays the difficult character of Irys Duke, who butts heads with the handsome director of a Coco Chanel biopic about the designer's storied life.
Despite an old-fashioned coiff and strong brow game, Stewart's portrayal is reminiscent of her Twilight character, Bella Swan.
Lagerfeld is said to have played on the actress's natural tendency for awkwardness, encouraging her to employ a stammering, nail biting demeanor.
