Underworld: Evolution, a horror film starring Kate Beckinsale, pictured, was No 1, while Golden Globes glory propelled Oscar frontrunner Brokeback Mountain up the chart to No 5.
The animated fable Hoodwinked was No 2, with college basketball drama Glory Road at No 3.
