A family's camping trip along Victoria's Murray River will be remembered forever after they came across a koala casting a line as it attempted to catch fish.
Lorraine Johns and her family had left their fishing rods sitting along the river bank while they were having a picnic. But when they turned around they caught the inquisitive koala in the act.
"We just turned around and there it was holding on to the fishing pole!" she told 9 News.
