Kiwis in frame for Best Couple

The wait is nearly over for six couples competing to win a rare 22 carat princess cut diamond ring worth $1 million in the World's Best Couple competition.

Multi-millionaire jeweller Michael Hill and reality television star Kim Kardashian will present the lucky couple with the prize ring next Tuesday in New York.

Two New Zealand couples are among the finalists who have had to prove their love for each other by posting online diaries revealing the details of their relationship to gain as many public votes as possible.

Auckland couple Shariyah and Cameron Morris are in number two spot.
