New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead created a wardrobe for Britain's new first lady.
Auckland-born Wickstead, 27, designed the navy blue dress worn by Samantha Cameron, wife of newly-elected Prime Minister David Cameron, at their first photo opportunity at 10 Downing Street.
A previous recipient of a $10,000 Arts Foundation donation, Wickstead told the foundation she was excited to have her clothes in the public eye.
Wickstead moved to Milan as a teenager and went on to study at London's prestigious Central St Martin's college.
She had previously worked for designers including Giorgio Armani, Luella, Proenza Schouler and Narciso Rodriquez, and her clothes have appeared in British Vogue and Tatler.
