'Kiwi as' jandals go viral after being listed on Facebook Marketplace

Us New Zealanders are known for our DIY prowess, some even say it's in our DNA, and these jandals are the latest proof.

This fine pair was posted in the "Buy Sell Anything Wellington" Facebook group, simply marketed as "shoes".

Though they've obviously had some serious man hours put into making them, many commenters over on Reddit have complained that the seller was asking a little too much with the $20 price tag.

Others joked about how these jandals "allow the wearer to walk on water".

Should you become the proud owner of this one-off pair, you could also meet their maker if you opt to have them "dropped off for a small fee".
