Batman star Val Kilmer is making his West End stage debut in The Postman Always Rings Twice.
The 45-year-old has signed up for the starring role of Frank in the psychological drama, which opens in May. The new production from the West Yorkshire Playhouse opens at London's Playhouse theatre.
Kilmer is famous for taking over the role of Batman from Michael Keaton. His career first hit the bigtime when he played rocker Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's biopic The Doors. Most recently the Los-Angeles born actor played King Philip in Alexander, the not-so-successful epic starring Colin Farrell.
