Frasier star Kelsey Grammer is considering running for political office.
"I come from a family that is traditionally in service. I've always felt an obligation to spend some time in service to the country," Grammer said while in Washington for an event linked to the inauguration of President George W. Bush.
But he won't be on the ballot any time soon. Grammer, 49, said he wouldn't run until "no one really thinks I'm doing it because I'm out of an acting job".
"The truth is, it would probably be easily another decade, maybe 20 [years]. Certainly at the age of 70 people can manage a political career," he said.
