KEY POINTS:
New Zealand actress Keisha Castle-Hughes does not appear on the list to attend the Vatican premiere of her new film The Nativity Story this month.
Castle-Hughes play the role of Mary in the movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
It's the first feature film to have a Vatican premiere.
Promoters said it would be attended by Hardwicke, actors Shohreh Aghdashloo and Oscar Isaac, producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, screenwriter Mike Rich, and 7000 invited guests of the Vatican.
It was revealed last month that Castle-Hughes, 16, the Auckland-based star of New Zealand film Whale Rider, is pregnant to boyfriend Bradley Hull.
The Nativity Story will screen at the Vatican on November 26, before opening in New Zealand on November 30 and the United States on December 1.
The Vatican event will serve as a benefit, with contributions going toward construction of a school in the village of Mughar, Israel - about 40km from Nazareth.
The Nativity Story chronicles the journey of two people, Mary and Joseph, a miraculous pregnancy, and the history-defining birth of Jesus.
