Stand by for the brat-attack - Simple Plan return to New Zealand for two shows in September and October.
The last time the punk-pop band were here was in support of Green Day in March, but this time round Simple Plan are the headliners and they're bringing Oklahoma lads The All-American Rejects with them.
Simple Plan's latest album, Still Not Getting Any ... - featuring the singles Welcome To My Life and Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?) - has sold more than 20,000 copies in New Zealand.
Simple Plan play Thursday, September 29, at the Westpac Trust Centre in Christchurch, and Saturday, October 1, at the North Shore Events Centre in Auckland.
Meanwhile, due to popular demand, Illinois band Mudvayne have been forced to move their show this Tuesday from Studio on K Rd to the 2000-capacity St James.
And fans, get ready to rumble, because Mudvayne are doing an in-store signing session at Sounds Megastore on Queen St at 4pm on the day of the gig.
Their new album, Lost & Found, spent four weeks in the New Zealand top 20 album charts when it was released in April.
Mudvayne were last here for the 2001 Big Day Out.. This latest show, with support from local hardcore band Cold By Winter, is in recognition of hardcore Kiwi fans who sent emails and petitions urging the band to tour here after we missed out on The End Of All Things To Come tour in 2003.
After the New Zealand show, the band return to the US to join Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Velvet Revolver on the main stage for Ozzfest 2005.
Meanwhile, two South Pacific drum'n'bass acts - Australia's Pendulum and New Zealand's State of Mind - play in August. The three-date tour is in support of Pendulum's Hold Your Colour album, which is released on August 3.
Pendulum and State of Mind play Thursday, August 18, at Subnine in Wellington; Friday, August 19, at 4:20 in Auckland; and Saturday, August 20, at the Ministry in Christchurch.
