Julio Iglesias cancels NZ concert

Latin crooner Julio Iglesias has cancelled his Auckland concert.

Promoter Dainty Consolidated Entertainment announced that the singer's concert on Monday November 22 at the Civic has been called off "due to circumstances beyond our control" and wouldn't elaborate on reasons why.

The Herald understands that Auckland ticket sales were low, while promoters had added a second show at the Sydney Opera House two nights before his Auckland appearance.

Ticket holders should contact Ticketek for refunds.
