Julia Roberts' Broadway debut took almost US$1 million at the box-office in its first week. Three Days Of Rain grossed US$988,000 ($1.6 million) playing to capacity audiences where some people had to pay for standing room to see the star of Pretty Woman.
The play, with Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper, is sold out for almost its entire Broadway run. Roberts' introduction to Broadway comes after two years when she had no major projects because she was looking after her young twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel.
