Movie stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are each giving US$1 million ($1.5 million) to humanitarian organisations - Global Action for Children and Medecins sans Frontieres-Doctors Without Borders.
"In the most troubled parts of the world - places that much of the world has abandoned - Medecins sans Frontieres is always there," said Jolie, who is a goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commission for Refugees.
