Kicking things off this month is talented chef Nick Honeyman, whose French bistro, Paris Butter, opens this month in Herne Bay.
Nick is one of New Zealand's most talented young chefs, having worked as the executive chef at the Sofitel as well as stints cooking at Everybody, The Commons and The French Cafe.
Last year Nick moved to the South of France to reinvigorate the restaurant Le Petit Leon, which he now part-owns, and in his words, "to take a fresher approach to classic French food".
He will continue to cook at Le Petit Leon each summer, and says it his childhood dream to be able to open his own Auckland restaurant, Paris Butter, in Herne Bay.
