Joan Rivers calls off trip to NZ

American comedian Joan Rivers has canned a trip to New Zealand next month.

The 72-year-old was to have given two shows, in Wellington on April 26 and Auckland the following day. Show organisers say refunds on tickets are available at point of purchase.

Rivers has also cancelled a show in Perth on April 29 although the rest of her Australian tour commencing May 2 will proceed as announced.
