We knew Joan Rivers was hilarious and a harsh judge of fashion, however we didn't realise the 81-year-old was also a chef.
Rivers' contribution to an Irish charity cookbook was revealed by a reddit user after the glamorous comedian's death last week.
"This recipe has been in my family for generations," Rivers writes ahead of her recipe for "Joan River's (sic) Toast."
The ingredients are easy to get hold of - two slices of white bread and butter or margarine. The only equipment you will need is a toaster. She notes "For holidays and special occasions, raisin bread may be substituted ... we call it Joan Rivers' Holiday Toast."
The "dish," she writes, serves two.
