Jessica Simpson lines up Weight Watchers deal

Pop star Jessica Simpson is already made plans to get her pre-baby body back, reportedly lining up a deal Weight Watchers.

The 31-year-old Dukes of Hazard actress and her American football player fiance, Eric Johnson, are expecting their first child together in the new year.

She has reportedly joined the likes of Weight Watchers celebrity spokeswomen, Kirsty Alley and Jennifer Hudson, inking an estimated US$3 million (NZ$3.69 million) deal to shed her excess baby weight.

According to sources, the blonde beauty has been "fielding offers from a number of weight-loss programmes," but has now decided on a final one.

"The deal is in place, and after having her baby, she'll start with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight," a source told the New York Post.

The couple have put a hold on wedding plans until after their baby is born. Simpson says she will focus on the big day when she's not feeling so hormonal.

"We were going to throw something together, but I'd rather put more time in it and be able to really enjoy the day," she told Access Hollywood.

"When you're pregnant, your hormones go crazy.

"I don't want to be super stressed out and end up being a bridezilla. So, I'll wait until after."
