Jay Kay cautioned for assault

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay has been cautioned for common assault after an incident outside a London nightclub.

Kay was held by police after apparently slapping a photographer and punching another, then rounding on police with a volley of abuse.

He appeared convinced that photographers were waiting for him when in fact they were hoping for a glimpse of actress Lindsay Lohan, who was also inside.
