Jasmine gets ready for brush with fame

Make-up artist Liz Cramer-Roberts adds some final touches to 11-year-old Jasmine Karaitiana's look for the Westfield Style Pasifika Model Search at Westfield Shopping Centre in Manukau City.

The model search, which took place at the Westfield Manukau City and North Shore shopping centres at the weekend, was seeking would-be models of "all sizes, shapes, colours and ages" to grace the runway at the annual fashion show. Seventy models were chosen, and up to 30 will go on to feature in the show.

Westfield Style Pasifika is New Zealand's largest fashion award and will run for two nights on October 5 and 6 in the Auckland Town Hall.
