Comic actor Jack Black has signed on to star in a new movie as a Mexican priest who moonlights as a masked wrestler to raise money for an orphanage, Billboard magazine reported.
The new film will be co-written by Black's longtime collaborator Mike White and Jared Hess, who wrote and directed the 2004 independent hit Napoleon Dynamite.
The movie is inspired by a true story and will be made in conjunction with Nickelodeon TV.
Black (School of Rock and High Fidelity), recently finished work on King Kong directed by New Zealander Peter Jackson.
