Celebrity psychic John Edward has left former royal butler Paul Burrell stunned after he revealed a secret about Princess Diana that only the royal employee knew about.
During a reading on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia, Edward shared alleged details about Diana's relationship with Burrell that was never made public.
During the reading, Edward revealed she was involved in a car crash before the accident that claimed her life in 1997.
Edward started off by telling Burrell: "You had a friend who passed in a vehicle accident."
But Burrell's interest sparked when Edward asked him, "Were there two car accidents?"
"She was frightened that night. She crashed her car. She couldn't drive it ... She said, 'What do I do?'" he recalled.'
"I said, 'You go and lock yourself in the ladies' loo in the nearest hotel and I'll come and get you.'
"And I did. I went down at midnight and collected her and then rang the police and the Palace to say they can go and tow the car."
Diana was 36 when she died from injuries suffered in a car crash in Paris' Pont de L'Alma road tunnel on August 31,1997.
Burrell's reading then intensified when Edward delved into the former butler's broken relationship with Diana's family after he was accused of theft in 2002.
"I feel like you have been ostracised," Edward said. "I feel like you are the outcast, your need for validation from your friend's family... [it's] not coming. Like, not coming."
During Burrell's conversation with Edward, the celebrity medium also described details of Diana's bedroom and made reference to the royal's "foul language".
"Your friend wants me to tell you that the dream where she came to you in the royal blue dress was real," he told a clearly shocked Burrell.
"I do have a dream of me sitting alone with the Princess, cross-legged on the floor, and she is wearing a blue dress," the butler told the camera.
"It's the last dress I saw her in. I've never told anybody about that particular dream."
