(Herald rating: * * * * )
Double disc of chic'n'sleak chillout and top-shelf atmospheric tracks selected by Paris' Buddha Bar mover and shaper, Claude Challe.
One disc is Promenade Nirvanesque and features the sitar-coloured Secret Place by Prem Joshua, the effortlessly seductive vocals on Bliss' Kissing, and much other eclectic, sometimes soul-jazz, ambience besides.
The other disc is Ethnic Lounge (both discs could live with that description) where the fashionably hip give themselves names like "The Rootsman".
Included on this fine selection are Blue Planet (the wiry, violin-driven North African Latin Masala), Faithless (We Come One off Outrospective gets the self-remix) and A Guy Called Gerald (Humanity remixed by Ashley Beedle).
Mixed bag inevitably, but a pretty well matched ensemble overall.
