In the same series as the collection of Arabian beats — North African techno, disco, radio pop and chill-out ambience — comes this equally enjoyable compilation of Punjabi MCs, bhangra artists and Bollywood songs (the Mychael Danna/Sukhwinder Singh track is from Monsoon Wedding).
Mostly British artists — the notable exception being Japan's Dry and Heavy dubbing up Asian Dub Foundation's PKNB — this is exotic pop of no great depth but plenty of passing pleasures, and some serious head swerving action on the remix of the heroic Bollywood Brass Band track and the woozy, neo-psychedelic, sitar-coloured 66 Meters by Indian Ropeman out of Brighton.
