(Herald rating: * * * * * )
Enjoyable 31-track double disc of 80s and 90s dance and r'n'b funkiness which is catholic in its approach and has Arrested Development's anti-gangster, almost rural People Everyday and PM Dawn's psychedelic Spandau Ballet-sampling Set Adrift on Memory Bliss alongside Digital Underground's hilariously stupid Humpty Dance and Tone Loc's chart-topping Funky Cold Medina. Also here are Shanice's smooth I Love Your Smile, Color Me Bad's chart-abusing I Wanna Sex You Up (both betraying the influence of Michael Jackson), Groove Theory's sensual and leisurely Tell Me, Zhane's disco-flavoured Shame and R. Kelly's classic She's Got That Vibe.
Second disc is for lovers, first for funkin' around. Break out the baggy red vinyl trousers.
