Oscar is always daydreaming.
He dreams of being somewhere high above the clouds and below the stars, for this is the best place for his dreams.
One day Oscar's disorganised parents take him on holiday to the desert. There is bustle and chaos everywhere, and as usual Oscar stands apart, quietly daydreaming. Unfortunately he is so quiet his parents forget him, and Oscar is left behind.
This gentle fantasy, illustrated with evocative cartoon-style watercolour paintings, is reminiscent of the dream-like quality of Antoine de Saint-Exupery's classic The Little Prince. It is an unusual and delightful story.
