A nice idea to provide a joggers' guide to 12 of the world's great cities (including Auckland), although clearly you wouldn't want to carry a largish coffee-table book while slogging around the routes suggested in these glossy pages.
Henderson has thoughtfully provided a booklet of carry maps which tucks neatly inside the back cover, or into a runner's sweaty hand.
While the writing is as uneven as the puffed breathing of the unfit (London is "awesome;" New York is similarly described in a series of breathless cliches), the feature jogger profiles running alongside the city profiles are interesting (John Hart represents Auckland runners) and the photos make you want to go there.
