Television presenter Petra Bagust has been along to a few shows, with mother and baby in tow. Judy Bagust is attending as a boutique buyer, but lest there be any confusion as to where she should be seated, the buyers list has in brackets after her name, Petra's mother.
Little Venetia, nearly three months old, wore a new red outfit to the Insidious Fix show yesterday and enjoyed a preshow feed with her unselfconscious mum but found the next group tough going.
Boys use the Powder Room too
Burly hiphop artist King Kapisi, who showed his Overstayer range under his real name Bill Urale, was man enough to front up for some pampering in the L'Oreal Powder Room. But it was strictly a quick manicure and buff for the manly MC.
Other celebs and assorted hangers on couldn't wait to get their nails painted and their hair blow-waved.
No pretensions here
I've been rebuilt from ground zero, admits a glammed up Kerre Woodham. The radio presenter is hosting chat sessions in the Powder Room and has been happily making full use of the hair and beauty expertise on offer.
From camera to catwalk
Former Shortland Street actress Jo Davis (above) rugged up in Insidious Fix knitwear for a stint on the catwalk yesterday. Davis played ditzy cafe owner Gina in the long-running soap.
She was one of a number of telly types spotted on the runways. High Society's showing of its Chocolat label the day before featured Anna Thomas from Fair Go, Mary Lambie from Good Morning, entertainer Jackie Clarke and Ardijah's Betty-Anne Monga. Somehow the label which bills itself as clothing for grownup real women looked better on curves than teenagers.
Runway, what runway?
Makeup artist Carolyn Haslett took a wrong turn on the runway after a fashion shoot for today's Viva (see bumper-sized section in the Herald's print edition for summer's best looks). Trying to leave Ardmore Airport she inadvertently ended up in the wrong lane, temporarily stopping incoming aircraft. An incident report is being filed.

Tomorrow the Herald will report on the final day of trade shows, before Newmarket Fashion Friday, when the public gets the chance to join in Fashion Week.
Tomorrow evening, while invited guests attend Karen Walker's show, the public can get along to a highlights parade of the Winter 2004 seen so far.
Tickets are available from Ticketek for the Style on Stage shows and also Friday's shows which feature Newmarket retailers' summer collections.
A ticket to the Friday showing in the big tent in Aotea Square also gets you into a designer fashion clearance sale and a chance to enter a model search.
