Jim Carrey seems to have it made. He makes $NZ51.25 million a movie and this leading man has got the girl - Renee Zellweger - as well.
But the comic actor tells Details magazine that making obscene amounts of cash isn't all it's cracked up to be.
"With me, it's just numbers on a page. I don't exist in that world. All I need is three meals a day, a comfortable place to live and my car."
Not surprisingly, Carrey doesn't get much sympathy. "I could literally have a tumour on the side of my head and they'd be like, 'Yeah, big deal, I'd eat a tumour every morning for the kind of money you're pulling down'."

The Practice star Lara Flynn Boyle says reports of a fling with Harrison Ford are "poppycock" and life with Jack Nicholson is "magic."
Boyle had been reported as dating the 58-year-old Ford, who has announced that he and his wife of 17 years were living apart. Boyle says that is "pure poppycock."
Boyle, 30, says her relationship with 63-year-old Nicholson is "really fabulous ... it's magic. There's not an hour to take for granted."

Westlife are celebrating after trouncing of the Spice Girls in their head-to-head race to claim the No 1 album in Britain.
The Irish boy band sold 234,000 copies of their second album Coast To Coast compared to Spice sales of 71,000 for Forever.
It is the biggest chart setback for the Spice Girls although they have kept a relatively low profile with little in the way of promotion for Forever. Westlife's success comes a week after becoming the first act to achieve No 1 hits with their first seven singles.

Hip-hop star Eminem and his wife are sharing a home again, but their high-profile divorce proceedings continue. The 27-year-old entertainer and his wife, Kim Mathers, 25, separated in June after a bar incident during which both were arrested, but his lawyer says they are living under the same roof with their 4-year-old daughter - at least until the next stage of court action.
