124 Queen St, Northcote Point
We came here because it had been ages since our last visit.
Parking was no problem on a weekday morning, but if there's a good film on at the Bridgeway next door it can be busy on the street.
We walked in and immediately thought nothing has changed - phew.
The most unusual thing on the menu was scrambled eggs greek style, with feta, tomato and kalamata olives ($15.50)
We ordered the scrambled eggs - just perfect, served with toasted European-style bread - and eggs benedict with bacon ($17.50) which proved to have just the right quantity of hollandaise.
The service was pleasant and efficient.
The coffee was great and served promptly.
We recommend if you come here take the opportunity to pop next door to take in a movie.
Overall, we thought this cafe has survived the test of time.
