A casting call has been made for New Zealand's coolest pet pictures to feature in next year's Paw Justice calendar.
The charity, which aims to promote education and awareness of animal abuse, received 1500 entries last year, raising about $20,000.
Paw Justice co-founder Craig Dunn said it's not necessarily about finding the cutest kitten or the most playful puppy.
"It comes down to capturing a great shot and an interesting moment with your pet," he said.
Entries close on July 10, 2013 when the judges will pick 12 pets to feature in the 2014 calendar to be sold online.
