As far as beauty aspirations go, we can understand wanting to have longer eyelashes or flawless skin, but striving to apply over 100 coats of thick, goopy nail polish isn't exactly on the list.
However, if you've ever been curious, a popular beauty vlogger has taken up the challenge.
Christine,the beauty expert behind YouTube channel Simply Nailogical, is known for her informative yet down-to-earth nail polish tutorials.
But when was dared by her slew of manicure-mad followers to layer her nails in every polish she owns, she bravely answered the call.
The epic feat took more than 14 hours, and included 116 coats of polish.
To ensure maximum impact, Christine let each coat dry before adding the next, and she says the somewhat gruesome result should be a contender for the Guinness Book of World Records.
The video, complete with Christine's dryly humorous commentary, shows the vlogger carefully layering each shade, stopping to sip coffee and snack on pizza for sustenance.
At the end of the challenge, the thick polish was simply lifted off in one solid chunk.
"It feels like the weight has been lifted off my fingernails," Christine said to the camera after finally finishing the crazy task. "I'm going to go now before I lose my mind!"
