KEY POINTS:
Charity Christmas cards make good sense so stock up on the good ones early. We like the red and silver cards, gift-tags and gift boxes from M.A.C and we especially like that all the profits from this Kids Helping Kids outreach goes to fund children suffering from Aids. Priced from $14-$19 at M.A.C.
Party girl
Moochi are celebrating the summer party season with a launch of a new collection of party frocks - and a party on Saturday 15 November. All Moochi stores will be holding their own "dress week" party, with tea and muffins in the morning and wine and chocolates for afternoon shoppers. Shopping, dresses and wine? Sounds like our idea of heaven. The parties start from 9am at all Moochi stores.
Republic of summer
There's a new Republic Revolution range at The Warehouse, with pieces starting from just $4.99. A bargain! The range, from Republic Home's Peter Reid and Graham Dickie, launched last year. The pair say this summer's key theme is "viva" - we like the sound of that. Think brights, stripes and lots of swirling colour.
Ethical footwear
Tongue shoe store have received a new delivery from eco-ethical footwear label Terra Plana, including the colourful Juniper Heel. The heel is made of recycled rubber, chrome-free leather, recycled foam and recycled fabric from Bangladesh and Pakistan. This means that each shoe is unique. Tongue, 95 Ponsonby Rd, Ponsonby, Auckland, ph (09) 360 2610.
Anglomania at Jaimie
