If you've driven down K. Road recently you may have noticed that the doors have reopened at Hailwood's old store, next door to Starkwhite Gallery. New store Forever Takes Time took over the space recently, selling T-shirts from Hailwood and Bird as well as a selection of vintage pieces. Webb's Auction House is holding two exciting auctions this week of modern design and taxidermy. The Trevor Chappell collection of taxidermy features over 100 pieces, including mounted trophy heads, butterfly collections and marine collections - the weird but wonderful pieces will be auctioned off on May 9. The contemporary art and design sale returns, with pieces from Peter Robinson, Seraphine Pick and Sara Hughes, as well as furniture by Hans Wegner, Eames, Panton lighting and more. That auction will be held next Tuesday.
