KEY POINTS:
Fans of the exceedingly fancy designer shoes at exclusive footwear store Ashley Ardrey should definitely check out their current sale with discounts from 50 to 20 per cent off. You may be able to bag yourself a bargain such as these statuesque Sergio Rossi fawn and gold darlings, which slip easily into several currently trendy categories, including the penchant for interesting, architectural shapes and unusually shaped heels as well as the Mary Jane style that's hot right now. Added bonus: if you take these home you'll easily be able to wear them right into next winter.
Also worth noting is the sale at Ashley Ardrey's outlet store under the Stamford Plaza on Swanson St. Because it's currently under siege by workmen on a neighbouring site, prices there are even lower.
Welcome back
Back in the day, the feminine versions sold out so quickly that there were women calling men's stores to get a bloke's version put aside. We're talking about the Karen Walker T-shirts that said "Young and Stupid". The folks at Walker HQ have decided to start reproducing some of Walker's most popular T-shirt lines, calling it Karen Walker Repo. Four of the most popular designs have been released so far - currently the Hello Dog, Sunglasses, Caterpillar and the Young and Stupid prints, at $90 each, are available in Karen Walker stores now.

After a complex series of assessments overseen by Landcare Research, the Wellington-based company, run by Catherine de Groot and Sarah Gibbs, have become the first New Zealand skincare brand to achieve carboNZero certification. As de Groot says, "maximum effect on the skin, minimum effect on the environment".
