Moochi in the capital

Kellie Taylor is really excited about the opening of Moochi Lane in Wellington. "As a girl I walked Lambton Quay every day and my career started with a fashion course at Wellington Polytechnic," says owner and designer Taylor. "It feels so great to be bringing my clothes home to the city where my style was developed."

It is the fifth Moochi to open since 2000. There are two in Auckland, and others in Hamilton and Tauranga.

Right next door

British retail chain Next has opened a store in Onehunga's Dressmart mall. With more than 500 stores, it's one of the biggest retail outlets in Britain. It will sell clothes for women, men and children.
