KEY POINTS:

Skate skite runs on
At Karen Walker's New York show several photographers were left upset by one tousled young man who left his front seat beside model Shalom Harlow to march merrily back and forth across the runway mid-show, ruining their pictures of posing models. Who was this naughty fellow, apparently carrying all his worldly goods in a pillowcase? A derelict who sneaked in? A Peta protester who got the venue wrong? No, it was pro skateboarder and artist Mark Gonzales, boyfriend of Walker's groovy stylist Heathermary Jackson.
Step out proud
If you like running, aerobics, or some other sport that makes you bounce a lot - and you're the proud owner of a big chest - then you know it's pretty difficult to find a bra that's really supportive and comfortable. Some of the well-endowed have even been known to bring two bras into the arena. So congratulations to local lingerie-maker Bendon for coming up with another addition to their excellent range of sports bras. This time it's called the Extreme Out and, almost unbelievably, it's available in DD to G cup sizes. Well-endowed sporty people will rejoice.
You can rest easy
Worried about the environment? Well, you'll rest even easier on the ecoLinen range from Australia available at Holy Sheet stores. It's organic cotton, modern, good looking - and, best of all, it's reasonably priced considering it's pure cotton bed linen. Call (09) 520-4913 for more information.
Fragrant fusion
Blending is the buzzword among hard-core, highly fashionable, self-described perfumistas. It's all about mixing your perfumes to create a special scent of your very own.
There are several simple ways of doing this - you can either wear different perfumes on different parts of your body or layer one perfume over another. The more experienced scent-blenders sometimes mix the smellies together, in the same way as might Jo Malone or Christopher Brosius of New York boutique I Hate Perfume. One perfumista advises only blending like with like, say musk and musk, or floral with floral. Another recommends using less of any stronger scent, and says citrus goes well with almost any fragrance.
As with all perfume shopping, the best combinations probably mean a little trial and error.
Get your old scents out, or head to the beauty counters and play around. Soon you'll be able to claim your own swoon-inducing signature scent and your status as a cutting edge perfumista.
