When Mrs Armitage had a bicycle in Mrs Armitage On Wheels, she couldn't resist adding all sorts of bits of pieces to improve it. Deconstruction, however, is the order of the day when she acquires a car.
Mrs Armitage isn't impressed when her uncle gives her his old car but she takes it for a spin anyway. It is not long before Mrs Armitage's complete absence of driving skills turns their outing into a very stimulating experience.
When they speed over some holes in the road, all the hubcaps fall off. Bit by bit Mrs Armitage knocks vital parts off the car until she is left with nothing but an engine sitting on the chassis.
