It's a sure sign of summer in Auckland when the Parnell Baths open. The salt-water baths open this weekend, but yesterday a group of children from Parnell school were allowed an early first dip.
Although the CBD's Tepid Baths open year round, Parnell's seaside outdoor pool generally opens only from the first weekend of November (for the brave) until Easter.
It will open from 6am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on weekends and public holidays.
