Being a Pearl Jam fan means never having to admit you're broke.
Aside from the official albums and DVDs there are the dozens of live albums available through the fan club.
And now comes this, a double disc of cast-offs, unreleased songs, B-sides and only the occasional nugget, such as their surprise hit Last Kiss, the cover of a 50s death ballad which became one of their biggest-selling singles.
But aside from them thrashing through the old Holland/Dozier/Holland Leavin' Here, some grunge-flavoured hard rock with Hendrix overtones and some punk-influenced surf-rock there's little here for anyone other than the most slavish fan.
It's so jammy most of these dogs were better off lost.
