Paris Hilton's debut album, Paris, only sold 75,000 copies in the United States in its first week, with the projected figure for next week just 30,000.

First single, Stars Are Blind, is languishing at number 49 in the US Billboard Hot 100, and limped in at number 29 in Britain.

Another problem is that she will not be touring to promote the album because she cannot sing live.
