It's not surprising that tickets to Dawn French's Auckland shows sold out almost as soon as they went on sale. Week by week more shows have been added to the New Zealand tour to cope with demand and if you're lucky you can still get a few. The chance to spend a couple of hours with the star was always going to be popular.
This week French talks to Herald entertainment writer Lydia Jenkin about her new - which she says includes "a few rants, funny stuff, all the difficult stuff as well - her new novel and how to be happy at 58. Clearly there is no slowing down for the French and Saunders and Vicar of Dibley star.
