Kathy Paterson (who consulted her mum for her bottled tomatoes recipe) says, preserving is very satisfying, in so many ways, including the appreciation you get from those you have given your goodies to. On their recent trip to New Zealand, Warren gave top chefs Fergus and Margot Henderson a jar of Dianne's kasundi which was pronounced "very delicious" in a thank you email. We're all very satisfied by that.
